Restoring Florida’s Seagrass

Florida's Indian River Lagoon is one of the most biodiverse estuaries in North America, but sadly, its loss of seagrass is having an immense impact on the wildlife that depend on it like manatees.

The Florida Oceanographic Society is working to solve this environmental issue by restoring the seagrass in the lagoon and monitoring the water quality.
